Last day around Airlie

Today was fairly easy going. Prue was getting over her trip yesterday.  So she did not get too active early.

I went for a bike ride around the area. I rode up into some hilly residential areas for a look. Not the really steep streets in Airlie but more the areas around neighbouring Cannonvale. It was cool to start and as I came back from the east, the wind picked up.

Later in the morning, we went into Airlie Beach for a cappuccino at a different cafe. I went to it last year and the same people are still there.

After that, we caught up with unexpected friends, Barb and Jamie from Armidale. Barb found me on Facebook after her daughter, Sal, alerted her that we were in the area. We went to the unit they are renting and were enthralled by the stunning views. It was very steep getting up there. Anyway, we had a lovely lunch and lots of chatting.

Almost mid afternoon, we left Barb and Jamie as Prue had a massage booked back at the Resort where we are staying.

While Prue was occupied, I went and refueled the Mazda BT50 ready for departure tomorrow. While on that mission, I also picked up a few items at Woolworths. On return to the Karavan, I packed a few items and entered the destination for tomorrow on the GPS.

So that was about it for the day. So off to see a few more areas we have not checked out tomorrow as we go to Townsville.
